4th of July

 This year Donnie and Cheri came up for the 4th of July.  That was nice to hang out with my family.  We went out to dinner a bit which is something we usually don't do.  We also took the kids to Brainbridge fireworks.  It was nice however they only thing they wanted to do before the fireworks was wait inline for the balloon clown.  And the wait was so long they didn't even get a balloon.  However they did get popcorn before the fireworks and enjoyed the fireworks show.

On Monday, everyone came up to our house to see our addition.  It was coming along nicely however it was not framed in yet.  Just the foundation was completed.

On the 4th of July we went to our favorite parade.  The kids love it.  We get donuts in the morning.  We bring some plays for them to play in the feild before the parade.  Then we watch the 2 hour parade.  It was a beautiful warm day.  Then in the evening we went to my parents house for dinner.

We have also been busy picking out our cabinet and granite for our kitchen.  I have decided I wanted white cabinets.  Brian thinks I am crazy however I think it will look beautiful.  I went with gray cabinets for the bar.  I can't wait to see how it turns out.

We celebrated my mom's birthday at Hibachi Japan.  Sydney had never been to a place like that.  She was a bit scared.  Austin loved it.  However neither really ate the food.  It was a nice treat.   On my mom's birthday, we came down for breakfast.  Sydney made her a T-shirt and Austin made her a pillow.  They also got her a blanket but it did not come in time.

Our house is moving along.  It is all framed outside.  They are working on making the bedroom and bathroom walls.  Sydney's room was taken down this week.  It was sad because I really liked her room.  It's been a challenge knowing where to sleep.  Sometimes we are in the house and other times we sleep in the camper.  Austin also can't really sleep in his room either so it's been a challenge.
